We have 15 years experience in the building industry. With the demand for fine and exacting workmanship ever increasing, Brian Barry Carpentry & Joinery Service was officially established in 2000 to meet the needs of customers in Sydney, the Blue Mountains and more recently, Brisbane and the Gold Coast.

"Imagine the shock of finding an infestation of white ants in your house of 34 years and the alarm at realising that the infestation had spread to the whole house, including the roof! Our major life’s asset was at risk and at our age the prospect of beginning again was remote.
We made an appointment with an ecologically sound pest controller and contacted Brian Barry Carpentry and Joinery Service to assess the damage. Without fuss, Brian examined the whole house closely and advised us of what would be involved in repairing the extensive damage and introducing preventative measures to minimise risk of reinfestation.
His assessment proved to be not only absolutely correct, but devoid of embellishment, once he had promptly started work on the building.
Such is Brian’s meticulous approach to his work that the opportunity presented by the major re-building project allowed him to rectify poor and shoddy workmanship carried out many years ago by previous builders.
The result has been marvellous, with our house like new again after a minimum of inconvenience (although some was necessary) and a strong work ethic, which saw him and his team on the job early each day.
Brian Barry is a wonder worker who is not only a true master tradesman but a great organiser whose planning ability ensures the maximum output from each day’s effort.
His move to Queensland has ensured that we have taken every precaution to prevent a recurrence of this problem as we know that someone of his calibre would be almost impossible to find again".
